Summary:
The video reviews two new table saws from Flex: the 8 1/4-inch and the 10-inch. Both saws have many similar features, including a rack and pinion fence system, a blade guard with anti-kickback paws, and an LED light on the fence. However, there are also some key differences between the two saws.
The 8 1/4-inch saw is more compact and lighter weight than the 10-inch saw. It also has a side table that can be folded up for storage. The 10-inch saw has a larger capacity and can cut through 4 by material in one pass. It also has a cut sense feature that automatically turns off the saw blade when the cut is complete.
In terms of power, both saws performed well, even when cutting through 2 by stock. The reviewer felt that the 8 1/4-inch saw might have even been slightly more powerful than the 10-inch saw.
Overall, the reviewer was impressed with both saws and said that they would be a good choice for anyone looking for a cordless table saw. The 8 1/4-inch saw is a good option for those who need a more compact saw, while the 10-inch saw is a good option for those who need more power and capacity.

In this Flex Table Saw Review, I got my hands on the brand new 8-inch and 10-inch table saws from Flex, featuring their new CutSense technology. After running through the specs, features, and performance marks that make these table saws stand out, I run them through a series of cuts in plywood, 2x, and 4x lumber to see just how much power we're able to get out of these cordless table saws.
Yes, they are cordless table saws, but one of the most interesting new accessories that come alongside these table saws is a Flex AC adaptor that allows them to also be corded for unlimited runtime. We'll also dive into CutSense, a new technology exclusive to the 10" Flex Table Saw that allows the saw blade to automatically stop when it senses the load decrease, keeping you from having to turn off the saw manually.
We'll provide more info on the AC Adaptor when it comes into the shop, but for now, don't forget to like this video if you enjoyed it, and subscribe to Pro Tool Reviews for more!
